SuperSonics Continue Working Hard
The SuperSonics are working hard in this tough season, and nothing could prove the point more than this weekend's game. The coaches were so proud of our kids as they put constant pressure on the Colonia Lightning. Taking 30+ shots on goal, the Sonics did all they could to pass an amazing goalkeeper. The most important part was that no matter what, they never stopped driving to the net. Zachary, Martee, Ivan, Mike, Tony and Jackie just kept targeting the goal and firing away. Colin was exceptional in goal until an injury forced him out, and Jarret aptly took up the fight. Our backline continues to be anchored by excellent defending from Emily, Jarret, Danny, Liam and Rory.
We are going to continue to work in practice this week on pressure plays and quick transitions, but as long as we continue to see the work we saw on Sunday, the Sonics are on their way to good things.
