Article 16:
Amendments to Constitution and By-laws
This Constitution and By-Laws, having been duly and properly accepted by the General Membership of the Association, in whole or in part, may only be amended by a two-thirds vote of the Membership in accordance with the guidelines set forth below:
- This Constitution and By-Laws may be amended at any General Membership Meeting,but will not be in effect until the next season.
- Suggested amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws may be submitted by any Regular Member, Coaches and Referees Committee or Committees which are in Good Standing with the Association.
- Suggested amendments shall be submitted in writing to the President at least 45 days prior to a General Membership Meeting, to be considered for adoption.
- The Association Board of Directors shall review any and all Suggested Amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws and, by majority vote, submit a recommendation to the Membership on such amendments.
